Founded in 2005, Doon University is a State Public University nestled in the picturesque foothills of the Shivalik range in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The university was inaugurated under the Doon University Act (Uttaranchal Adhiniyam Sankhya 18) by the Government of Uttarakhand. It holds recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has received a commendable ‘B++ Grade’ accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
